At Nuvaleo AI, we are developing PIDS — the Predictive Infrastructure Degradation System. This early-stage platform is designed to help building operators and infrastructure managers detect early signs of wear, stress, or faults before they escalate into disruptive or costly failures.
Why PIDS?
Across the UK, many facilities rely on outdated monitoring methods and reactive maintenance. Problems are often discovered only after equipment has failed, leading to unexpected downtime, safety risks, and higher costs.
PIDS is being designed to shift this approach — from reactive fixes to predictive prevention.
What PIDS Will Do
Our vision for PIDS is a system that can:
Continuously monitor key assets through sensors and data integration.
Detect early patterns of degradation using edge-based AI.
Protect sensitive data through privacy-preserving approaches such as federated learning.
Provide explainable alerts so operators know what’s happening and why.
